Or Tor Kor (OTK) Market, Bangkok, Thailand

This is a Must-Go for Foodie Lovers. Take the MRT and disembark at Kamphaengphet Station. Once you walk out, the market is right in front of the station.
The market was surprisingly clean and airy. Not that stuffy, wet and dirty markets I went before. The fruits and vegetables look so fresh and delicious and there's a wide variety of food. There's also a food court that serves a good variety of local food. But, be warned, the workers here speak very, very minimal English and there're some who spoke no English at all. Fortunately, I met a couple of customers who can speak basic English and helped with the translation.
The market opens about 8am, so before I head over to Chatuchak Market (a few minutes walk away), I have my breakfast here and I did not regret it.

It's quite difficult when the people, including the guards can't speak English. Even some the students who wore school uniforms are afraid to speak English, like as though it's the most scariest languages. But, I'm glad I managed to bump into a couple of nice people who helped me to go to my destination.

ON 8 Sukhumvit Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand

The hotel is very, very conveniently located directly in front of Nana BTS station. It has 2 entrances to enter, 1 is in the back lane and 1 is in front (have to go thru a tailor shop. If it wasn't for a worker working next door who saw us carrying our luggage and indicating that the hotel is located after we walked thru the tailor shop, we would have missed the hotel). Once you entered the hotel, you have to walk thru the cafeteria (very small) then only you reached the small reception counter. The staff was nice and friendly. Once we are done the check-in procedure, a staff helped to carry our luggage into our room. There's only 1 elevator in this 5-level hotel.

The staff led us to our room and introduce the amenities in the room before he left. The room was small, dimly lit and windowless. Amenities consist of safety box, kettle, fridge (with drinks), snacks, pre-mix Nescafe sachets and tea-bags and 2 bottles of water (complimentary and replenished daily during housekeeping service). Hair dryer, robes and slippers are provided as well.
Outside the hotel, facing the BTS, there're shops, i.e. tailor shops, massage parlour, etc. At night, there's a small street market, selling mostly T-shirts, products, etc. At the back of the hotel, there's a massage parlour, 7-Eleven, bars/pubs, eateries and food stalls.
For breakfast, the cafe is very small, so the food selection is very limited, ie. breads and buns, cereals, fruits, porridge/fried rice, coffee and tea. But they do offer eggs for breakfast, where they will give you a piece of paper for you to choose how you want your eggs to be prepared, ie. fried, poached, omelette or scrambled and you can select the side dishes, ie. fried bacons, chicken sausage, ham, tomatoes or potatoes.
The hotel staff was friendly and attentive. There's one night when we return back to the hotel, we realize the housekeeper forget to replace a new floor mat for the bathroom. So after we showered, the bathroom floor was wet, hence I called the reception and requested for the floor mat and complained the floor is now wet. 10 minutes later, the security guard came, bringing along the floor mat AND a mop and helped to mop the bathroom floor. He apologized for the inconvenience and wished us Good Night before he closed the door behind him. We were surprised yet pleased with the service provided as this is something we never thought they will do.
And when we checked out, the staff helped to call the taxi to drive us to the airport.

Overall, we are pleased with our stay and we would love to come back when we visit Bangkok again, but next time, I will go for room with window.
