Groupon Deal - Malswisse 2 Make-Up Classes and either Facial or Makeover Package

I've purchased another deal from Groupon, which is the 2 Make-Up Classes and either Facial or Makeover Package by Malswisse Derma Care Training Centre.
I was pretty excited as I always wanted to participate in a make-up class to improve my skill. So I was really looking forward for it. I received a confirmation from Groupon that the class will be conducted in English as I can't understand and converse in Mandarin.
However, to my disappointment, the class is conducted both in Mandarin and English, where the instructor already admitted that her English is below average, therefore 70% of the class is conducted in Mandarin, which I have trouble understanding and following. The rest of the students have no problem because all of them communicate in Mandarin, so it's only me.
Anyway, the class began with methods to wash the face and the type of product to use. I noted that Malswisse uses similar names as Dermalogica products. Only difference is the brand name and perhaps some of the ingredients. I prayed in my heart that their products doesn't cause any reaction to my skin as my skin is hyper-sensitive.
Throughout the session, so far my skin felt a bit of of warm and tingling sensation, hence I silently pray that it's just a normal reaction.
After completing the three basic essential routine, we proceed to learn to apply foundation and powder on the face. Then, the class is complete. (yeah, I was surprise as well, but I'm too concern with my face after using the product that I can't wait to rush home to wash it all off).

Overall Verdict:
I just felt dissatisfied with this class that I complained to Groupon.
Fortunately, I was refunded partially (better than nothing) for the deal, which I deeply appreciate it. I guess, I won't be buying anymore of this kinda classes again in the future.

MyDeal - Essential Health Screening + Results Analysis + Health & Slimming Diet Meal Consultation @ ILife Nutrition

This deal sounds interesting. Essential Health Screening + Results Analysis + Health & Slimming Diet Meal Consultation @ ILife Nutrition (Kota Damansara) for only RM28 Instead of RM160. All the way in Kota Damansara. Hmmm... Never mind, I might as well go and get my hair cut at the hair salon where my regular stylist transferred to. Shoot 2 birds with 1 stone. ;)

When I first got there, I was about 5 minutes early, but the outlet is not open yet. Strange. On the voucher it said opened at 10AM. And my appointment is at 11AM. And I'm very certain sure that is the outlet I'm standing in front of because the signage says so. So I called up the person in charge and she said she's on the way, another 10 minutes. *rolled eyes* Not a good impression, I suppose.
So, fine, I wait. I can't just leave since I drove all the way from KL.
10 minutes later, she arrived. So I walked in. The outlet looks like a retail shop, selling health supplements and health food. We entered a small office and she passed me an empty bottle for my urine sample. She directed me to the washroom at the back of the shop and allow me some time and privacy to do my thing.
After that, I passed the bottle to her and she began with checking my blood pressure and heart rhythm. While I waited for the machine to finish reading my heart rate, then she announced that she will take my blood samples. She probably can foresee that I'm terrified of needles that's why she chose to announce it after the machine finished reading my heart rate. I hate needles and I'm seriously terrified of them and when she said it's gonna hurt like ant bite, I wanted to tell her 'Bullshit'.
So after taking my blood samples and checked my urine samples as well as checking my BMI and Body Composition Analysis, we finally sat down and discuss about my results. She said my cholesterol level is very high and I need to seriously cut down on fatty and oily food, such as pork, curry, etc. My blood sugar is good, my protein level a bit high, no signs of h.pylori, I got more fats stored around my mid-section (thanks, I already know that >.<)
Then, she gave me a food log, which I have to follow (but knowing me, I doubt it) She told me to return in a month or two time, so I will see about that.

Overall verdict:
The nutritionist is a pleasant, young Chinese lady. The outlet is still new, about 4 months old. But so far, it's OK. Not sure if there will be a second visit, but well, never know.
