GQ Hotel Yogyakarta, Indonesia (aka Grand Quality Hotel Yogyakarta)

This hotel is located 15 minutes drive from Adisucipto International Airport. There's no eateries or stores nearby. The nearest place to shop is Carrefour, which is about 15 minutes walk.

The hotel exterior looks OK. A little bit old-looking, but presentable. The lobby is brightly lit, with nice chandeliers and decors. The receptionist are friendly but not really fluent in English. Still OK, understandable. And the receptionist is very kind to exchange my big note to smaller notes.

The room is quite spacious, but is quite dimly lit. It's really not bad. It's quite clean and presentable. It comes with two twin-sized beds, a dressing table, a wardrobe and a rack to place your luggage. Toiletries, towels, hair dryer, kettle, coffee and tea sachets and safe deposit box are provided.

The bathroom is clean and spacious. There's a bathtub, with a shower head. But the water is not that strong and quite yellowish. I cannot even boil water to drink because the water is undrinkable.
The Wi-Fi connection is very poor. There's no connection at all in the rooms. I have to go down to the lobby area, and that, too, I have to walk around with my smartphone in my hand searching for a good Wi-Fi connection, and when I finally found it, I have to stay in that spot. And even so, the connection is very unstable, which is really annoying.

Overall, the stay is a pleasant and relaxing one. The buffet breakfast is not bad, too.
