I have lodged an official report again Mayflower ACME Tour Sdn. Bhd. for their misleading advertisement and duping on their customers.
I have to open two reports; one for me and one for my mum as the travel involved both of us. We are due for the hearing on June 20 and we even sent the opponent's copy of the report for their record.
The procedure is simple. I just open the file online, keyed in my personal details and the complaint as well as inputting the documents as evidence. And the next day, the file is opened and I have to go over to the branch office, which was just 5 minutes walk away from my house to get the secretary's signature and approval before I can send the opponent's copy to their office via registered post.
Now, I just wait and see if they (Mayflower) want to settle this matter out of court or to see them directly in court.

Interesting Deals at Affordable Discounts
I was checking out my Facebook and I kept distracted by the ads on the right side of page with amazing deals and stuff. So out of curiosity (especially hazardous for a shopaholic like me), I checked a few discounted websites, such as Groupon, Dealmates and MyDeals. And I was enthralled with all their amazing offers that they offered there. From food and beverages, to fashion, automobile, classes, health and beauty treatments, etc. All at special prices. All seems too good to be true. But of course there's always and forever terms and conditions applied to them, therefore we have to read thoroughly and carefully before clicking the 'Buy Now' button.
Groupon provides a Discussion page to for QnA of the particular deal, which is very informative as sometimes we may not thought of the question but others do as sometimes the information on the Fine Print and Highlights can be a little misleading. However, Dealmates and MyDeal doesn't provide such service, so it's a bit risky, but can still inquire on their email address provided.
Payment wise, I prefer Groupon as they provided a range of payment method for our convenience. As I always have a trust-issue problem, my preferred payment method is the offline payment system aka ATM transfer. I mean, I did not go all the way to the ATM at the bank, I can still do it on the comfort of my room, just I manually transfer money online. Sounded the same, I know... Oh well...
Geez, I started to hate myself for checking out these sites... (well, as the saying goes, curiosity kills the cat) and there's no turning back. And since I subscribe to have all offers delivered to my inbox, everyday and night I will always log into my email account and looked through all their offers that they've sent. *sigh* When will I ever learn...?

Mayflower - Singapore Package
After I finalized my flight booking with AirAsia, I received a bad news from Mayflower, claiming that the Royal @ Queens rooms are full. And if I want to stay in Grand Central Hotel, I have top up an additional RM518, due to it's peak period with convention, functions and whatever bollocks. I was shocked to hear that. As a travel agent, don't they all advised in advance that Singapore has special functions or whatever shit before they promote the offer? Only after we make the booking and deposit then only they turn around and tell me that the Singapore counterparts increase their prices. Deliberately?! Hello, I don't born yesterday. What bollocks!
And the person got the cheek to tell me I must make my decision right now so she can make the necessary booking ASAP and the hotels that she provide are mostly 2 stars hotel, out of the city and did not provide breakfast and airport transfer as promised in the package. I felt so cheated and duped. I can't ask for a refund because I already bought the Air Asia tickets and all sales are final.
After much contemplating, I made a decision to stay in Peninsula Excelsior Hotel, without breakfast and airport transfer.
The next day, she immediately replied that the booking is confirmed and everything has been sorted out and I should pay the remaining balance ASAP. I still felt duped but I have no choice but to pay the balance.
Once there, fortunately I withdrew my money from my bank as they will charge extra 3% interest for paying with credit card. Once again, I was totally dumbfounded. Fucking hell, why didn't I was inform beforehand? When I paid my deposit during the fair, that fucking consultant who sold the package to me did not tell me that I will be charged 3% for using my credit card. This time I really unable to hold my anger. I immediately throw the balance onto the table - CASH and get out of the place.
The very next day I lodged a report with the Consumer Tribunal of Kuala Lumpur regarding this matter. I can't let them off so easily.
