MyDeal - 1 ½ Hours Holistic Anti-Stress Hot Stone Massage & Aromatherapy Body Massage @ Holistic Esthetics

A hot-stone back massage. That is just what I really need right now. The word Anti-Stress rings true to what I wanna look for.
Holistic Esthetics is located at two places; 1 in Bangsar and the other 1 in Solaris, Mont Kiara. I preferred the Bangsar outlet as it's more familiar as it just located just 2 minutes away from my old primary school. Aah, my childhood memories.
Anyway, the normal price for this package is actually RM180, however I only pay RM68 via MyDeal.com, which is a good bargain. Nice for first-time trial.
So I have made an appointment today at 11AM. I went into the outlet to register myself and as usual, I need to complete my details on the Customers Details card. I have to wait for 10 minutes as they need to get the stones and ready. Then, the lady told me to go up to the second floor for my treatment as the rooms on the ground floor is fully occupied.
So fine, I went up to the flight of stairs to the second floor and again was told to wait for another 3 minutes. Finally, I was shown to my room and was told to strip and put on the shower cap and disposable panty provided.
The massage begin. It was done by a petite Thai masseur lady, but don't be deceive with her size, as she is pretty tough when comes to massage, which I like it, of course (but I did told her to soften the pressure on my lower back as I have previous injury before).
Firstly, she covered my back with towels, before she went to scoop out the stones, which was heating up in the electric multi-purpose pot. Then she slowly arrange the stones on my spine, before she went to massage my legs with the essential oil. Since my head is facing down the hole of the bed, and since there's no clock on the floor, so I can only guess-timate the time of the whole process.
She massaged about 10 minutes on each legs and then she took 2 hot stones and massaged directly on my skin for another 5 minutes each. Then she removed all the stones from back and the towel and proceed with 30 minutes of back massage, which includes, kneading, pressing, rubbing, acupressuring and squeezing. She also uses the hot stones to massage my back, which really felt so good. When she massaged my shoulder, she can feel the tensed muscle around there and kept on trying to release it (which actually hurt quite a bit), hence she spent another 5 minutes on my shoulder. She also uses the hot stones on my shoulders as well as on my arm.
Then, she told me to turn around and I did so. Funnily, I felt like she placed the hot stones on my pelvis, as I can feel the heat there. She then proceed to massage my legs, arms, tummy and again, my shoulder for approximately 25 minutes. However, there's no hot stone use. After it's done, the masseur told me to sit up and she went to put my hands behind my head and then stretch my back by placing her knees on my lower back, then on the middle and lastly on my upper back. Finally, the whole process is done, and she left me alone to get myself dressed.
Once I dressed up, I went out of the room and the masseur led me to sit on the counter, with a cup of hot tea waiting for me. Then, a Chinese lady came and sat in front of me and asked how was the whole experience and explained on the methods of massage. As usual, she will then try to promote the package to me, specially for MyDeal customers, whereby I pay RM988 for the Full Hot Stone and Aromatherapy Body Massage. Sorry, not right now. So I just left without buying the package as I don't see myself need it right now.

Overall Verdict:
The hot stone massage is really invigorating. The heat of the stone that was massaged directly onto the skin does hurt a bit, but then it's really refreshing. If only they will do in front as well, but well, the lady said the offer only for the back. Not sure if its true, because it doesn't seem to say it on the voucher. But anyway, I will probably go back again once my budget is loosen up a bit ;)
